Cursos y contenidos

No. You can take the e4YOU courses at your own pace. If a course lists an expected duration or an estimated number of hours per week, use that as a guide to help you plan your time.

These figures are for guidance only, except for courses with fixed start or end dates. In that case, you’ll need to complete them within the specified timeframe.

It depends on the course. In some courses, all the content is available from the start. In others, it is released in stages as the course progresses, so there is time to reflect on each topic and discuss it in the forums with the instructors and other participants before moving on to the next one. The same applies to the materials and assessment quizzes.

If your course is released in phases and you’re eager to move faster, that’s a good sign! While you wait for the next section to become available, you can take the opportunity to participate in the forums and review the supplementary resources.

Certificados y diplomas

Validation is carried out by the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca. Any person or organization wishing to verify a diploma can write to fgu@usal.es indicating the code shown on it, and the Foundation will confirm its validity.

No, it is not an error. Whether the certificate includes dates, and which dates it includes, depends on how each course has been designed and accredited:

  • Certificates with dates. Whenever possible, especially for certificates of completion, fixed dates are indicated. The start date is the opening date of the course or module. The end date is usually 21 days later for courses lasting up to three weeks; for longer programs or courses, it is set by the collaborating organization offering the course.
  • Certificates without dates. Most e4YOU courses are asynchronous MOOCs, which you can start and finish whenever you want. For this reason, in many cases the certificate does not include dates.

For two reasons:

  1. Courses with professional or academic recognition go through an approval process that establishes specific periods. Certificates must comply with those periods for the recognition to be valid.
  2. Fixed dates simplify the issuance of certificates and reduce administrative costs. Thanks to this, we can offer certificates at affordable prices, which is one of the foundations of e4YOU.

Yes. Each course has a certificate template available so you can see what information it will include before requesting it. The organization that owns the course decides what information appears, as stated in the general terms and conditions. There you will also find information on how to exercise your rights to a refund or withdrawal.

El campus y tu cuenta

No. The courses are taken on the e4YOU campus, a web-based platform that you can access from any browser: on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone. You only need to log in with your username and password.

How do I change my first and last name on the campus?

Write to us at campus@e4you.org requesting the change. In order to make the change, we need you to:

  1. Write to us from the same email address you used to register on the campus.
  2. Tell us your correct first and last name.
  3. Attach a copy of your national ID card, passport, or another official identity document.

Check that your details are correct before requesting a certificate, because they are the details that will appear on it.

For security reasons. Your first and last name are the ones that appear on the certificates, so we verify your identity before changing them. This way, we make sure that the details are only changed when they are incorrect and at the request of the person concerned.

Remember that by using e4YOU you accept the legal notice and code of ethics, the general terms and conditions and the privacy policy.

Yes. From the age of 14, you can register directly using your own details, without needing authorization.

If you are under 14, your mother, father, or legal guardian must first send us:

  1. The authorization form for minors, signed.
  2. A copy of the national ID card, passport, or equivalent document of the person signing.
  3. A copy of the document proving parental authority or legal guardianship.

It can be sent with an electronic signature to campus@e4you.org or by post to the address shown on the authorization form. Once we have reviewed the documentation, we will confirm that you can register and explain how to do so, so that your certificates are issued in your name.
