At the Bioinformatics, Intelligent Computer Systems and Educational Technology Research Group of the University of Salamanca (hereinafter BISITE-USAL), we are especially concerned with ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data provided by users.

If you are receiving this message, it is because at some point you requested information about one of the activities organized by BISITE-USAL or you have participated in them.

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 EU 27/2016 concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data at BISITE-USAL, we need you to know what personal data we hold and to accept its processing.

  2. B- BISITE-USAL guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its users. In addition to the minimum requirements established by law, data collection and processing are carried out under appropriate levels of security to prevent their loss or manipulation by third parties.
  3. C- All users of BISITE-USAL portals have the right of access, rectification or erasure, restriction or objection to processing, portability and withdrawal of the consent given in relation to their data. At the end of the processes, the data will be deleted, with only those data necessary for any use for historical, statistical or scientific purposes being retained in accordance with specific legislation.

Code of Ethics

The use of the services and content of BISITE-USAL portals is subject to current legislation and to the principles of good faith and preservation of public order, especially national and international standards for the protection of human rights.

The user shall not use BISITE-USAL portals to transmit, communicate or disseminate, in any way, illegal, defamatory, vulgar opinions or content, or content that may otherwise offend the sensibilities of others or violate the values or dignity of the person.

Any use of the portals for unlawful purposes or that harms or prevents, may damage and/or overload, in any way, the use and normal operation of the portal and that directly or indirectly harms the portal itself or any third party is prohibited.

BISITE-USAL reserves the right, without prior notice, to suspend the service if the user's conduct is contrary to this Code of Ethics.
