This module provides a practical and strategic overview of the protection of critical infrastructure, industrial control systems, and industrial networks against increasingly sophisticated threats.

Throughout the training, you will learn how ICS/SCADA environments work, the main risks associated with industrial digitalization, and how IT/OT convergence has expanded the attack surface in sectors such as energy, water, transportation, manufacturing, and industrial automation.

The module combines technical concepts with an applied perspective, showing how attacks on industrial environments are addressed today and what defensive measures are used to protect critical infrastructure. It also introduces basic concepts of OT system security, as well as the main challenges arising from the interconnection between industrial networks and corporate systems.
